Hi All,
I am, admittedly, a snob when it comes to Mary Kay, Arbonne, Nu Skin, etc. Like many in my field, we feel we have earned the right to be critical/apprehensive of these skin care MLM companies because we have made sacrifices in our lives and, invested time and money (lots of it) to learn about the skin and skin care. In addition, most of us take annual classes to further our education. Again, time and money.
To sell skin care with any of the above mentioned companies, you need only purchase your kit and you're in the business of telling people how to care for their skin without asking them one question about their skin or finding out about potential allergic reactions to product. YIKES!
Many reps will tell you Dr. such & such endorses their product, but you and I know these Dr.'s are PAID to endorse these companies, as are celebrities.
When I was approached by a Nu Skin rep, my wall went up and I let her know exactly how I felt. But that didn't deter her. All she wanted was for me to demo the Galvanic Spa for myself before I came to a conclusion.
All of this being said, I consider myself to be opened minded and knowing that I don't know it all, I agreed to try this device.
After my second "treatment" I did notice a slight "lift" to my skin and it did seem firmer. My husband could even tell which side I'd treated.
Over the next few weeks I will continue to do these at-home galvanic treatments and report my findings. As I don't like to have my picture taken, I will not be showing a before and after.........you'll just have to take my word that I won't lie to you as I'm not being paid for my endorsement:)
